About Us
Sickles Theatre is the drama program of Walter Sickles High School in Tampa, FL. The department is a long-time member of International Thespians (Troupe 5729). Sickles Theatre produces plays and musicals for the Tampa/Citrus Park/Carollwood area. Students participate in One Act and IE festivals and serve the community with various outreach and service events. Courses in the program include: Acting 1 & 2, Technical Theatre 1 & 2 and our Sickles Repertory Theatre Class.

Night Watch
April 2nd and 3rd @ 7pm

Unable to sleep, Elaine Wheeler paces the living room of her Manhattan townhouse, troubled by unsettling memories and vague fears. Her husband tries to comfort her, but when he steps away for a moment Elaine screams as she sees (or believes she sees) the body of a dead man in the window across the way.
Spring Musical:
Violet
April 23, 24, 25 @7pm

As a girl, Violet was struck by a wayward axe blade leaving her with a large scar across her face. With enough money finally saved, she's traveling across the Deep South in 1964 towards a miracle cure. She meets a diverse cast of characters along the way and learns about beauty, love, courage and what it means to be an outsider. Winner of the Drama Critics' Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical when it premiered Off-Broadway in 1997 and Tony-nominated for its 2014 Broadway Revival starring Sutton Foster, this production promises to deliver a unique and powerful experience!
